Privacy Policy

Funding Hub ("we," "us") operates fundinghub.io, a marketplace that connects individuals and businesses with lenders and funding providers. Funding Hub is not a lender and does not make credit decisions.

This policy applies to borrowers, applicants, business owners and officers, referral partners, and anyone who visits our site.

Information you give us when you apply or create an account:

• Identity and contact details: name, email, phone numbers, home address, date of birth, and Social Security number. Personal applicants may optionally share a mother's maiden name for identity verification.
• Business details: legal and DBA names, entity type, state of incorporation, tax ID (EIN), address, industry, start date, sales, location, and ownership information for each owner or officer.
• Financial and employment details: requested amount, purpose, income, employment, housing, existing debts and financing, estimated credit range, and similar information.
• Documents you upload, such as bank and card-processing statements, tax returns, financial statements, identification, and voided checks.
• Your electronic signature and a record of the signing: the name you typed, your drawn signature, the date and time, your IP address, your device and browser type, and a cryptographic fingerprint of the application you signed.

Information referral partners give us: a partner (such as a CPA or advisor) may submit an application on your behalf. Partners agree to have your permission first.

Information collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and timing, gathered through essential cookies, server logs, and — where enabled — privacy-limited product analytics (see Cookies and analytics).

Information from others, with your authorization: credit reports from consumer and business credit bureaus, and verification information from lenders, funding partners, financial institutions, and identity-verification services.

• To review your request, match it with suitable lenders and funding partners, and submit it to them.
• To verify your identity and information, and to prevent fraud and abuse.
• To communicate with you about your application, documents, offers, and account — by email, phone, and text message.
• To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve our services.
• To comply with law, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our Terms.
• To tell you about other financing that may fit you, which you can opt out of at any time.

We share information only as needed to deliver what you asked for, or as the law allows:

• Lenders and funding partners. To evaluate and fund your request, we share your application, documents, and related information with lenders and funding providers. Their use is governed by the authorization you sign and by their own privacy policies.
• The partner who referred you. If a referral partner introduced you, they can see your name, the requested amount, and your application's status. They can upload documents to your file on your behalf, but they cannot see your Social Security number, date of birth, or documents.
• Service providers who run our infrastructure under confidentiality obligations — for example, application hosting (Heroku), encrypted document storage (Cloudflare), email delivery (Resend), and product analytics (PostHog).
• Legal and safety. When required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of you, us, or others.
• Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer subject to this policy.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing unrelated to your request, except as described in the authorization you sign.

• All traffic to fundinghub.io is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
• Social Security numbers, dates of birth, and other identity answers are encrypted with AES-256 before they are stored, and are revealed only to authorized Funding Hub staff — every reveal is logged.
• Passwords are never stored; we store only a salted, one-way scrypt hash. Sign-in sessions are stored only as one-way hashes.
• Documents are kept in private, encrypted storage and can be downloaded only by you and authorized Funding Hub staff.
• Access is limited by role: borrowers see only their own files; partners see only the deals they referred; staff access is logged.

No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at ageorge@fundinghub.io.

We keep application information, documents, and signature records for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal, regulatory, tax, and record-keeping obligations — generally up to seven years after your last activity. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

• Access and correction: ask us for a copy of your information or to correct it by emailing ageorge@fundinghub.io. You can also tell us about changes (an address, an owner, your marital status) at any time.
• Deletion: you can ask us to delete your information. We'll do so unless we must keep it to comply with law, complete a transaction you requested, or protect against fraud.
• Marketing email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
• Text messages: reply STOP to any text to stop messages. Reply HELP for help.
• Calls: tell us during any call, or email us, to stop marketing calls.
• State privacy rights: depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have additional rights to know, delete, or correct personal information and to not be discriminated against for exercising them. Some financial information is governed instead by federal financial-privacy law. We respond to verified requests within the time the law requires.

Consent to marketing calls and texts is never a condition of obtaining financing.

• Essential cookies: "fh_session" keeps you signed in (30 days), and "fh_ref" remembers which partner referred you (60 days). The site can't work without them.
• Product analytics: we may measure how people move through the application (for example, which step they reached) to make it better. We do not record your screen, do not capture what you type, and remove web-address details such as password-reset links before any event is sent.

Your browser lets you block or delete cookies; blocking essential cookies will prevent sign-in.

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

We'll update this page when our practices change and revise the effective date above. For material changes, we'll notify account holders by email before the change takes effect.
